BLACK & WHITE: We work with film & traditional B&W (monochrome) gelatin silver prints on fiber paper, toned for archival and for color changes, and do all of our own darkroom work. These are the prints we offer for sale.
COLOR: We're working with digital images in a straightforward manner, as a part of travel photography & workshops. Nothing is significantly altered. It's simple photographic opportunity and our purpose is to help others take better pictures.
WORKSHOP: We'll be leading a Photography Travel Workshop this summer in Oaxaca, Mexico, from June 29 to July 7. See the LINKS section for a web site on which to register. There are still a couple of spots left. It's intended for budding photographers with digital SLR cameras. We'll help you improve the quality of your photographs & we're expecting a great travel experience.
RECENT HAPPENINGS: Sam is currently featured in a "spotlight" article in the June 2012 (issue 91) of B&W+COLOR magazine, the result of a Portfolio submission last fall. tOm had photos in the last Special Issue of B&W, as a portfolio "Excellence" award.
